Frozen Peach Daiquiri (2 Ways!)

Frozen Peach Daiquiri (2 Ways!)

Do you feel like an oven outside? Are your peaches about to mature at the same time? We only have the recipe that needs your summer: this frozen peach Daiquiri!

This refreshing, Naturally sweetTropical flavor drink is very easy to do in alone 5 minutes with 5 ingredients. Premium? It works wonderfully with or without alcohol. The choice is yours, friend! Let’s mix!

How to make a Peach Daiquiri

This frozen peach Daiquiri could not be simpler to do (or more satisfactory to drink 😉)! Simply mix frozen peaches and pineapple with lime juice, mint leaves, ice, water, sweetener and light rum (white).

After mixing, the texture will be thick and creamy like a hail! If it is too thick, you can simply let it settle for a few minutes to melt slightly. And if it is too thin, you can add more fruits or frozen ice to thicken your Daiquiri, but avoid adding too much ice since it will dilute the taste!

And that’s all, your Daiquiri is ready to serve! For a festive touch, we love to serve with beautiful cocktail glasses with a slice of cool or pineapple peaches, a lime wedge and an cocktail umbrella. Complete vacation vibas!

Recipe questions and substitutions

What is a Daiquiri?

A Daiquiri is a type of cocktail that is believed to originate in Cuba, but the history of exact origin is controversial. The original drink was performed by combining white Cuban rum, fresh lime juice and sugar, then trembling with ice and stirring in refrigerated cocktail glasses.

Over time, the popularity of the drink was extended and, finally, frozen and fruity variations emerged.

What is the light (white) rum?

While the dark rum has a rich flavor due to the aging of the barrels, the light (white) rum is clearer both in color and flavor. The light rum (white) is also more frequent, which makes it a better adjustment for the Daiquiris!

Do you want to do a non -alcoholic (Virgin) Daiquiri?

Simply stop the rum and add more water instead! The non -alcoholic version is equally delicious and perfect to share with children or anyone who does not drink alcohol.

Can I use fresh peaches?

Yeah! We recommend using fresh peaches to ensure that your Daiquiri has the best flavor. However, you must freeze the peaches before making your drink to achieve a Daiquiri texture. Choose the peaches in the peak of maturity, fragrant and slightly tender when it is pressed gently. Then cut the peaches and freeze a baking tray (silicone or parchment) in a single layer.

Do I need to peel the peaches?

There is no need to peel the peaches! We do not find the texture of the shell that distracts, makes the drink a beautiful peach color and not having to peel the peaches saves time. In addition, we will take any additional fiber opportunity!

What can I use instead of pineapple?

The pineapple adds sweetness and creates a more creamy texture. Frozen Mango is also delicious, but it covers a little the taste of the peach and the texture will be less like Daiquiri (think of creamy instead of ice cream)!

What can I use instead of Arce syrup?

(Pure) Arce syrup maintains this naturally sweetened, it is easily mixed and does not contribute to any arce flavor. Another liquid sweetener, like agave, could also work! If you want to use a granulated sweetener like cane sugar, it is better to dissolve it in the water before adding to the blender.

Can I do Daiquiris in advance?

It is better to make their Daiquiris just before serving because they will melt and lose their frozen texture. If you mix more than you want to consume at the same time, you can freeze any extra in a paddle mold. Then enjoy a palette or call again with a little extra water, pineapple juice or even coconut water.

We can’t wait for this peach daiquiri to try! Is:

  • 1 cup Frozed sliced peaches (Frozen in the maturity peak* // 1 peach performance ~ 1 cup or 140 g)
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple pieces (frozen in the maturity peak*)
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh mint leaves
  • 2 Tablespoon lime juice (recently squeezed // 1/2-1 Lima yields ~ 2 tablespoons or 30 ml of juice)
  • 1/3 cup ice
  • 23 cup water
  • 1/2-1 Tablespoon maple syrup (Depending on the sweetness of the fruit, or liquid underground as agave)
  • 4-6 Tablespoon light rum (white) (optional // If omit, add more water)
  • To a high speed blender, add all Daiquiri ingredients (including the least amount of rum if you are using it) and mix high for ~ 1 minute until it is soft. Try and adjust, adding more arce syrup to balance acidity or rum for a stronger drink.
  • Divide between your favorite cocktail glasses and decorate the edge with a slice of peach or pineapple, a lime wedge or fresh mint leaves, or add an cocktail umbrella! Soak vacation vibrations and enjoy!

  • Better when it is fresh. If there is any leftover (we doubt it!), We suggest freezing in a palette mold.

*For the best color and flavor, we recommend that fresh fruit freeze at the top of maturity. The peaches must be fragrant and slightly soft to the touch. Pineapple must be tasty and bright (not pale) yellow. To freeze, cut peaches (without peel) in 1/2 inch pineapple in ~ 1 ½-New pieces. Place the fruit in a silicone or parchment plate or a baking tray in a single layer. Establish in the freezer until it is completely frozen (~ 4-6 hours), then transfer to a sealed container until it is ready to use. In a hurry, the frozen fruit bought in the store will work, but we discovered that the flavor of the peach was not so remarkable, the pineapple was more sour and the color was more yellow.
*Nutritional information is an approximate estimate calculated with the least amount of arce syrup and without optional rum.
