FRAGRANCE | 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods and Cherry Ambition #CanadianJuly | Cosmetic Proof

Press samples

As a fan of Big Dragon’s Den, I tend to binglewatch episodes every time they are available in Netflix and I am surprised how many of the products I use that have appeared in the program. I use makeup makeup makeup, scrub Daddy, Blume, Cheekbone Beauty, the cosmetics elate and now 7 Virtues!

Honestly, I don’t know any brand of known Canadian fragrance, much less one that is in Sephora! Haling de Halifax, Nueva Scotia, I remember seeing founder Barb Stegemann in Dragons’ Den years ago and at that time I was not as interested in the fragrance as now, so I lost the notion of 7 virtues and now it is huge! The story behind 7 virtues is a kind of incredible, since its roots lie in “perfume not war.” When Barb’s best friend, Captain Trevor Greene, was injured horribly injured in a mission in Afghanistan, decided to assume a peace mission obtaining ingredients such as the orange flower and the essential oils of Rose of Afghanistan, Rwanda, Haiti and Madagascar and empowering people there when paying a right right and helping their economy. For example, in Afghanistan, he paid competitive wages to farmers who grew an orange flower to discourage the growing poppies responsible for the global heroin supply. I am simplifying its story horribly, but you can see Perfume warI am sure that all this will make much more sense!

Cherry ambition

7 virtues cherry ambition review
Made with sustainable sandal Cherry ambitionIt would not have been an aroma that I would have collected on my own, but I was surprised! The high notes are cherries (although I find it more subtle than expected), Pink Pepper, Mandarin and Marshmallow, Heart Notes are Cherry Blossom, Osmanthus, Orris and Saffron, and the base notes are vanilla, amber, musk, incense and guiacwood. I had to search Google some of those notes and learned some new fragrances!

Normally I am not a big fan of cherries, so I doubted a lot to spray this, but it was much more cozy and warmer than I expected and I felt like a more safe “update of my usual vanilla base. I feel that having 50 ml of this is perhaps exaggerated, since I do not know how often this would use compared to Vanilla Woods, but it is a charming option if you are looking for a impulse of trust and something that does not smell a young teenager.

As this is the first time I experienced 7 virtues, I have to comment on the packaging, since what caught my attention in the 50 ml bottle was the lid that was weighted and stamped with the phrase “Make perfume not war” in addition to the logo of the 7 virtues.

Vanilla forest

Vanilla lovers, this is your fragrance! With a superior pear note, Note from the heart of rose and vanilla base, amber and caramel notes, Vanilla Woods is a dream! It is sweet, but not in a childish way, it is creamy, you can smell the pear and heat of vanilla and caramel. It makes me feel relaxed, comforted and relieved instantly.

This 10 ml travel size is perfect for someone like me who likes to mix their fragrances enough, although in reality I could get the full size of this, since I have been taking this to bed, to work and around the house to feel happy. I understand why this fragrance has been talked so online!

While 7 virtues is available in Sephora, I would prefer to buy on the 7 Virtues Real website, since they have a great “fragrance test” policy, where all full -size fragrances come with a sample size of the same fragrance. You are intended to use the sample size and if you like the fragrance, then great, maintain full size, but if you decide that it is not for you, just return it for free within 30 days! They also make sales as well as Sephora and I would prefer that my money goes directly to 7 virtues.

Try 7 virtues! Especially vanilla forests! I’m going to collect the discovery set to try the other vanilla -based aromas!
