At first, I did not understand the viral fashion of the Dubai chocolate bar. But once I tried the combination of crispy and buttery kataifi mixed with pistachio cream and in layers with chocolate … the madness made absolute sense to me; Flavors are a dynamic sense and made for me. Flavors are dynamic together. This tiramisu is a version of my traditional tiramisu that is my favorite recipe forever.

Recipe Council

  • Katified – There are different kataifi brands and I love the brand called Apollo. You can find this in many grocery stores in the Middle East. It comes in large threads (you will have to cut it). Some kataifi already come in cubes and those are also good!
  • Pistachio cream – I love making my homemade pistachio butter. But I also love the brand called Pisti. They also have it in Costco!
  • Believe this Tiramisu knows better immediately. I usually ask you to cool tiramisu for a few hours or during the night, but I love it when the kataifi is still crunchy. It will still have an incredible flavor during the night, but not so well.

To make the kataifi filling:

  • Porta the kataifi until it goes from long strands to small bits. Some kataifi already come in pieces, so if yours feels free to omit it by cutting it. • Organize the ladybugs bathed in the baking fountain, one next to each other. I ended up filling the empty spaces breaking some of the lady’s fingers in different lengths.

  • Add 1/3 of the mascarpone cream at the top and extends to a uniform layer. Cover with a uniform layer of sliced strawberries. Then a cape of the crispy kataifi.

  • Repeat with the fingers of the bathed lady, the mascarpone cream, the strawberries and the crunchy kataifi.

  • Add a mascarpone layer to finish everything. Sprinkle the upper part with cocoa powder. Serve immediately for the best texture. Or store in the refrigerator to serve later. I like to dust off cocoa powder * alone * before serving.
