How to make imitation imitation sauce
J Dawgs began as a little Shaw just outside the byu campus. The lines became longer and longer, and now the obsession has exploded in Utah. With just a few basic pantry products, you can make your famous JDAWG sauce at home!
- Combine ingredients and heat: Combine Ketchup, brunette sugar, barbecue sauce, honey, apple vinegar, powdered onion, powdered garlic and smoked paprika in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, until boiling.
- Boil over low heat, great and enjoy: Reduce the fire half-low and let the sauce boil up for 3-4 minutes, until all the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and cool completely before storing in a hermetic container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

- Dog type: For the full experience of J. Dawgs, use hot dogs All-Beef (I love the Jumbo Costco). Or try a Polish dog for a more spicy kick!
- Hot Dog buns roast: It melt some butter in a pan over medium heat, place the buns on your face and cook until they are golden and clear to your liking.
- Style score: Add outraged cuts to your hot dogs before grilling for that classic Look of the firm of J. Dawgs (a hot dog trick that I swear!). I love using this practice tool.
- Coverage ideas: Traditional alignment is chopped onions, chucrut, banana peppers, jalapeños and pickles, but honestly, everything goes. Or keep it simple and let the J Dawgs sauce shine on its own.
