Given by a client
I love it when clients know what you REALLY love! These masks were given as a gift by a client who had just returned from Korea and although Innisfree is another iconic Korean brand, I’ve never reviewed anything from them on this blog! These cloth masks were the perfect opportunity to change that!
What makes this mask special? Oat extract is the featured ingredient, although it’s almost at the bottom of the ingredients list. However, what is at the top of the list that I liked about this mask was the shea butter, which is what made this mask hydrating.
Lots of essence in the package and the mask material was super soft and soaked in essence. The fit was also pretty good even though there were some wrinkles in the material. I especially loved the nice big mustache piece as that tends to be the area that dries first because it’s so thin!
Mask summary:
Price: I have seen this range from $2.50 CDN to $5 CDN per mask.
What are you doing: Nourishes dehydrated skin
Scent: Floral
Essence type: Cream
Duration: 25 minutes (instructions say 10 to 20 minutes)
Thickness: Slim
Mask Fit: Quite equipped with nice and soft material. No goatee.
Stickiness: Light
Hydration: I wouldn’t need additional moisturizer in summer, but for winter I added some facial oil.
Other notes: It had little tabs on the top of the mascara for easy removal.
Final verdict: While oat extract wasn’t front and center on the ingredient list, I liked how creamy the scent was and that my skin was left lightly hydrated with a pleasantly soft texture. For the price and the results you get, I would definitely purchase this mask again!
You can find the Innisfree Oatmeal Energy Mask at various Korean online retailers.
