Share some of my functional laboratories for moms over 30 years.
Hello friends! How are you? What are you doing this morning? Today I have a couple of calls, training and podcast interview this afternoon.
For today, let’s talk about one of my favorite themes: functional laboratories. (Friendly reminder that this publication is not a medical advice. I am not a doctor, and these are just some of my favorite laboratories to execute with customers. Before making health changes, communicate with your doctor).
What are functional laboratories?
Functional laboratories go beyond standard blood analysis that generally obtains in your doctor’s office. While conventional laboratories seek disease states or out -rank markers, functional tests are designed to assess how well your body is working before Things go wrong. These laboratories can discover underlying imbalances in hormones, minerals, intestinal health, detoxification routes and more; Often before the symptoms become more serious.
Unlike standard tests, functional laboratories often use non -traditional samples such as saliva, urine, feces or hair (instead of or in addition to blood). This allows a more detailed vision of what is happening at the cellular and metabolic level. For example, a mineral analysis of capillary tissue (HTMA) can show mineral imbalances and toxicity of heavy metals, and a salivary cortisol test can draw your response to stress throughout the day, things that you will normally see in a routine blood panel.
These tests are incredibly valuable to create specific protocols that support healing in the root cause, instead of just handling symptoms. They can also be completed at home, which makes them super accessible.
Functional laboratories for moms over 30 years old
If you are a woman over 30 years old and you feel that your body is not responding as it used to do it: your energy is turned off, your dream is inconsistent, your workouts do not work and your mood feels like a roller coaster, it is not in your head. It may be time to look under the hood!
Functional laboratory tests are one of the most empowering things you can do for your health. Instead of guessing what supplements take or diets to test, The tests provide data. It gives you clarity. He tells us where his body is out of balance and, more importantly, what we can do about it.
(It is worth mentioning here that these tests do not look for diseases and are not used to diagnose diseases. Instead, they observe deficiencies and toxicities so that it can work so that the body returns to balance).
These are the central functional tests that I recommend for many of my friends from my mother older than 30 years. These can be especially useful if you have 30, 40 or more than 40 years, and want to get ahead of symptoms such as:
Hormonal imbalances
Fatigue and exhaustion
Weight gain (despite doing “all the right things”)
Humor or anxiety swings
Sleeping problems
Intestinal problems and swelling
Hair loss or skin changes
My favorite functional Laboratory Laboratory Tests
1. Stress test, mood and metabolism
This is a Gamechanger. The stress test, mood and metabolism gives us a snapshot of their sex hormones (such as estrogen and progesterone), its stress hormone (cortisol), its thyroid (TSH, T4, T3, reverse T3, antibodies) and key insulin and blood sugar markers.
Why imports: these systems are deeply interconnected. If you experience stubborn weight, fatigue, irregular cycles or humor changes, this test can show you the complete image. Many women are surprised to discover that their symptoms are connected to the slow thyroid function or cortisol dysfunction, and once we know what is happening, we can create a specific action plan.
2. Organic acid test (oats)
Think about this as an internal grades ballot on how your body really works. Oatmeal analyzes more than 70 markers related to intestinal health, detoxification, neurotransmitters, nutrient levels, mitochondrial function and even excessive growth of yeast or mold.
Why cares: if you have mysterious symptoms that do not seem to be connected, or is simply exhausted, foggy or inflamed all the time, this test is very useful. Often discover the hidden imbalances that other standard laboratories are lost, and gives us a clear direction on where to support your body with specific supplements or protocols. This can be especially insightful for autoimmune, digestive, leather and mood problems. Check it here.
3. HTMA (cylinder tissue analysis)
This is one of the most underutilized, but incredibly valuable tests in functional medicine. The HTMA analyzes its mineral balance (such as magnesium, calcium, sodium, potassium and zinc) and toxic exposure to heavy metals (such as mercury, lead and aluminum).
Why imports: minerals are the spark plugs of your body. When they are out of balance, often due to stress, the use of birth control, bad digestion or chronic infections, it can affect energy, metabolism, thyroid and detoxification pathways. We also have an idea of the adrenal function and its nervous system. It is a low and non -invasive test that can offer a massive vision, it is often the one that I begin.
4. IgG food sensitivity test
While it is not always necessary for everyone, food sensitivity tests can be useful if you are fighting with inexplicable swelling, skin problems, joint pain or fatigue; Especially when these symptoms persist even with a clean diet.
Why it is important: food sensibilities can create low -degree inflammation in the intestine, which can be extended to hormonal health, immune response and energy. This test can give us a temporary road map of what to eliminate or reduce so that the intestine can heal.
Here is the overview
These tests are not treated or “biohacking” for their path to stress. It’s about getting answers. And from those answers, create a plan that feels sustainable and personalized for you.
With the correct data, you can:
Sleep better (and deeper)
Finally have stable energy again
Feel mentally clear and emotionally based
Balance your hormones and improve cycle health
Understand exactly what your body needs right now
Stop losing money in supplements that you don’t need
