When I was a child, I was decidedly indoors. But surprisingly, one of the greatest joys of my life has been to see my children fall in love with basketball, track and flag football. Now at 46, I am proud to call myself a sports mother, and I am so obsessed with the warriors and networks as my children are. Today, in association with Lululemon, six women share what it is for them to be sports parents …

Sports your children play: Basketball, flag soccer, track and fishing.
What surprises you most since you will become a sports mother: I always thought football was so boring, but my God, when I see the team of the Flag of Anton, my heart was beating! I laughed my friends about the new discovery, as ‘Have you ever heard about football?’
Do you ever practice sports with them? We often go to the park to play basketball (Toby loves this especially) or throw football. In addition, Anton created a strength training regime for both of them at home, which is a really fun way to hang out. I like it to be the expert!
Favorite Lululemon style to use when playing with children: The high -rise corridor in the Navy. They have the fair amount of Slouch.

Sports your children play: My eldest daughter ran through the country and the track, and my youngest daughter played football, both played from young ages to university.
What surprises you the most since your children began to practice sports: That all these years later find joy in their respective sports. I worried that they had exhausted, but they never did. The first thing my eldest daughter did when she graduated from the university was to look for a career group in Brooklyn. Instant community.
What do you love about the sports they practice? A part of me cannot believe that my girls can do these things with their bodies. Every time my football player made a career for the wing or my daughter of Cross Country, a difficult career, I think I think I’m surprised that she can do that.
Favorite Lululemon style to use in your daughter’s games: The brightness of leggings in the navy. I use them everywhere!

Sports your children play: We have not yet signed them at all, but we passed the afternoons kicking the football ball around our backyard.
Did you practice sports when you were a child? I played football and tennis. I still remember how poisoning that a new skill was felt unlocking, such as mastering a quick pass in the football field or hitting an acute service on the tennis court. I want my children to experience that same pride.
What sports do you plan to sign your children? Our close friend has all his daughters in softball. She is training a team this fall, and we plan to register our daughter. I am excited!
Lululemon’s favorite style: Yo live In these high -height shorts lined. They are light, aerated and feel good for races and walks to the park.

Sports your children play: My two children play football.
What surprises you to become a sports mother: I never liked sports, but my nine -year -old son has gotten into professional football. If I start talking about the 2026 World Cup, my parents will be like ‘Who are you?’ This is what I am now.
Do you practice a sport now? A couple of years ago, I trained an inner football team under eight. A father asked me if I had played football at the university (!). I had to explain that I was ted loop to the whole situation.
Tips for parents who are curious to sign their children for a sports league: Focus with curiosity.

What sports did you practice while you grew up? I played in team sports from an early age to university, and has been one of the greatest joys of my life. My mother died just before going to college, where I had committed to play Lacrosse. At first I was not sure to be able to follow physically and mentally because it was very sad. But I did it, and I’m sure it saved me.
Do you practice a sport now? I am running a half marathon in a few weeks (with a group of my friends from my football!) And I will run the New York marathon this fall.

What sports your children play? My children are extremely anti-team sports, but they are incredibly active. They love cycling loops in Prospect Park, skating on rollers and ice skating.
Why don’t you like team sports and how you have approached: My daughter is a perfectionist, and I think she doesn’t want to disappoint other people. I wish she tried a team sport, but I’m letting her take the lead.
Do you practice any sport? Tennis is my favorite. I love the combination of movement and strategy. In addition, my children became fans with me. We have been in the US Open for the last two years, and my daughter loves Coco Goutf.
Favorite Lululemon team to use when playing tennis: This high height pleated tennis skirt, which adapts very well to the shortest people. I also won my singles game the first time I used it. Do I dare to say that it is good luck?
