The best of Broadway and Off-Broadway were honored in the Drama 2025 League Awards and Nicole Scherzinger The most coveted action award of the year was taken home!
The event took place on Friday afternoon (May 16) at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City.
While the Tony Awards awarded eight acting awards every year to recognize the best in theater and musical works with gender categories for leadership and support performances, the Drama League awards only awarded an action award every year. The distinguished performance Award has dozens of nominees and combines all performances in a category, which makes it incredibly difficult to win the prize. Once you win once, you can never win again, so some actors receive honorary notices when they return to Broadway.
Nicole He won the prize for the distinguished performance of this year for his work in the musical Sunset Blvd.
