This last week it definitely deserves a solid blog post, since I had removed it to celebrate my birthday, so there were many things and events to take into account!
ONE
I was shopping Dior Hat! I do not use hats very often, but my husband and I make many summer walks and began to worry about burning the scalp because who wants to spread with sunscreen in the roots of your hair? I thought that a UVA/UVB physical barrier was the best and since it only had a great straw hat, I wanted something a little smaller that would not occupy the width of the sidewalk! I did not get this exact hat, but I ended up receiving a cube hat that was more subtle in the brand and cream color! Although I tried the straw hats, I fell in love! They were much more beautiful than I thought they would be!
TWO
This little appetizing monstrosity has been the tastiest dessert that I have tried in a time! A friend and I have lunch in Cactus Club in Coal Harbor and this Mousse Mocha is new in the menu and from its test kitchen. It looks like total garbage (literally!), But you know absolutely incredible! This is done with: eSapresso cake, ice cream, salty caramel, peanuts and hot chocolate mousse. The peanuts and the gold sheet were added after the comments of the clients of only a deformed chocolate slab were taken into account. I have to return there and try this again because it was like eating Ferraro Rocher and Skor all in one!
THREE
This particular event was in honor of the Dior Privee fragrance collection, since it was only in Holts for two weeks (it usually remains in Montreal). This was a tea manufacturing event in which, in association with David’s tea, we would make dry tea bags with ingredients that represent our favorite Dior Privee fragrance! The beautiful thing was that our tea bags were customized with our initials! How could I use this?
Four
I had lunch with a friend at the Holt’s Cafe and asked the Holts Benny Sando with smoked salmon in a croissant, Dutch, chives with a soft climbing egg and Tater Tots aside. Normally I never finish everything on my dish, but I did this! Everything was gone! If you have the egg yolk that oozes all over the croissant to the Tater Tater Tater Super crispy, it was a very happy girl!
FIVE
After lunch in Holts Cafe, my friend and I attended a Dior’s floral basket workshop and made these super pretty bouquets. I wish they were dry flowers, but I took as many photos of fresh flowers as possible, since they were only destined to last 2-3 days. We both spend a fabulous moment and I will never forget it!
Have a great weekend to all!
