Dolly Parton’s imagination library celebrates new summer milestones
The Imagination Library celebrates new milestones in early childhood literacy, while continuing its expansion efforts to inspire love for reading in children around the world. Dolly’s child literacy program now gives more than 3 million books every month and, as of June 2025, the Imagination Library has given more than 284 million books to children throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and the Republic of Ireland.
The rehearsals begin for the world premiere of Dolly: An original musical
Dolly announced the cast, the music team and the design team for the next world premiere of Dolly: An original musical As the trials begin in Dolly’s hometown, Nashville, TN. Preview performances begin on Friday, July 18 for an opening night on Friday, August 8 at the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Belmont campus. Due to the overwhelming demand, the race has extended with tickets now for sale until Sunday, August 31.
