May 19, 2025 – In celebration of the twenty -anniversary of its innovative debut album, the 8 -time Grammy Award, Carrie Underwood, will launch a new special vinyl edition, Some hearts 20th anniversaryThrough inherited recordings, the Sony Music catalog division. This special edition is now available exclusively through Target (link here), and will be launched on Friday, November 14, just before the album anniversary date (November 15, 2005).

Originally released in 2005, Platinum Album 9x certified Some hearts, He catapulted Carrie Underwood to stardom after her historic victory in “American Idol” season. The album quickly became the best -selling country album of all time, with #1 timeless successes such as “Jesús, Take the Wheel”, “Before He Cheats” and “Wasted”, and obtaining numerous awards and honors over the years.

To commemorate this milestone, the double 20th Vinyl Anniversary Edition will have a new alternative cover image and packaging, and an exclusive photo brochure. The launch will also include four tracks from Carrie’s live session at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, TN, recorded on October 26, 2005, and available in vinyl for the first time.

This year, Underwood commemorated the 20^th Anniversary of winning “American Idol” by becoming the first alumin of the popular song competition to join the Judges Panel. The successful ABC series had its end of the season on May 18 and is broadcast on Hulu.
