Buffalo chicken salad [Easy + Healthy]


This buffalo chicken salad is a simple, easy and healthy lunch recipe made with crushed organic chicken, celery and a spicy paleo buffalo sauce. Perfect in a sandwich or a trunk of celery, this salad is loved by children and adults equally!

The return to school is in the air! I know everyone knows that feeling. Even if 5 years have passed since I returned to school (how has it been so long?

You can or may not have treated me with a small shopping spree back to school. What should I use the first day? Lolz we all know that Lulus use every day.

But for those of you who go back to school this year, the blog ladies have covered it with 5 healthy recipes back to school. We are also helping you to have the year with a healthy start with a raffle of an unreal awards for UDI gluten -free food awards!

I assumed the task of an easy, healthy and friendly lunch for children because lunch from afar is the food with which I fight the most. Although I am generally at home for lunch, I rarely take the time to build something and sit down to eat it. This buffalo chicken salad was the simplest recipe and knew incredible! One day I had it in the old gluten -free grain bread of UDI and another day I had it in celery sticks to raise my vegetables and some old french fries aside. It was perfection and actually led to sitting and eating adequate lunch. Huzzah!

How to make buffalo chicken salad

Let us challenge about this sandwich or buffalo chicken salad in a trunk if you prefer! We have spoken before about how I am a diva when it comes to lunch. I will enslave for hours at breakfast or dinner, but lunch must be the most convenient food possible or otherwise it will be popcorn, avocado and eggs (I would like to be joking).

If you already have a bit of excess chicken by hand, this recipe takes less than 5 minutes to do. It can also be adapted to your spice level.

In a rare turn of the events, I turned on in the spice (you’re welcome), but you are like me when it comes to spicy, feel free to go to the hands. It also turns out that Frank’s Red Hot is Paleo and actually a lot of descent in terms of his ingredients. Not that I have ever prevented me from using it.

I think the greatest debate in life is Franks vs. Sriracha vs. Cholula. Almost as challenging as choosing your favorite recipe in this publication. Good luck with that …

  • 2 cups Chicken with grated sprinkling
  • 2 celery stems, chopped
  • 2 green onions (only white and light green), chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Spicy sauce (I like red fribos or cholula)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 Lemon, juice
  • salt and pepper, To taste

To serve:

  • Bread
  • Celery, Chopped in thirds
  • Bibb lyrics for lettuce wrapping

  1. Combine chicken, celery and green onion in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine all other ingredients.
  3. Add wet ingredients to chicken and mix well.
  4. Cover on bread or celery, as you want.
  5. It will remain for several days in a hermetic container in the refrigerator.
