What Do You Like About the Way You Look?

The other day, I was sitting outside in the neighborhood coffee. Trying to remain present (and outside my damn phone!), I looked at the crowd: parents used by Nike Killshots, chubby babies who relax in strollers, stock -stoped dogs, wondering if their humans would return from the cafeteria.

But, above all, I can tell you that every woman seemed so radiant.

Women of all ages drank coffee with their loved ones, and maybe I’m becoming old and sentimental, but I wanted to climb each of them and say, my God, do you understand how beautiful you are? We can beat ourselves for wrinkles or hair of the nose, but I would like to have shown each woman a short film of herself in the coffee laughing with friends and greeting passers -by and irradiating heat. Humanity! Little moments! It almost took me knees.

So, in an effort to celebrate, please tell me: What is something you love in the way you see? For me, I would say my big teeth. When I was growing, strangers on the street told me that Amanda Peet or Kelly McGillis or Nancy Kerrigan seemed, and after a while I realized that the common thread was large teeth, haha. But I like how big my smile is for friends and children …

and handsome men. 🙂
