Despite my deceleration in blog posts in recent years, the only thing I love doing every summer is a summary of the new sunscreens that I am using. Yes, I am still using some favorites that appear over the years such as Biorore UV, Tocobo and La Roche Posay Invisible Touch, but this year I have a completely new set of new UV blockers to share with you!

Sun Protector Review 2025
Starting with the Australian brand that we cannot have enough! When it comes to sunscreens, Australia is a continent in which I trust! There was a lot of talk about Ultra Violette in my Instagram feed, but I have been very careful when buying sunscreens, since I have a lot to work every year based on the expiration date. This chemical sunscreen claims to have skin care benefits, such as Squalane and Kakadu plum to cheer up, but considering that these ingredients are close to the lower part of the ingredient list (Squalane is halfway), I am not sure how much benefit they really provide. All that matters is that SPF Protection and I am happy!

There is a slight dye in this sunscreen, but the formula is quite creamy, so I discovered that it mixed quickly in my skin. The only thing I really don’t like is that the cover really doesn’t click. I have the habit of collecting products only for its caps, so I dropped the tube several times. Apart from that, I can use this as a moisturizer, what I love, since I prefer my moisturizer and my solar step to be one.

Sun Protector Review 2025

Kiehl’s | Beyond the sun protection of serum UV Broad SPF SPF 50+*

Sun Protector Review 2025

I am using this chemical sunscreen at this time and I have been enjoying it! He is light, creamy and mixes with the skin quickly. This sunscreen also contains peptides (at the bottom of the list of ingredients) that promise to reduce the appearance of fine lines, unequal skin tone and opacity. I am using this as a moisturizer/sunscreen in one and, while mostly, it is moisturizing enough for my normal/dry skin, there have been some occasions when moisture has been low that I have felt a little dry only using this alone. It has made my skin look brighter during the last week, so maybe it’s doing something, but again with sunscreens if I get additional benefits for skin care, incredible! However, it is not something that actively looks for, since I think of the sera as the step in my routine that is actually doing something.

La Roche Posay | Anthelios Body Lotion Eco Tube SPF 50+

Sun Protector Review 2025

This body lotion of Anthelios is the new child in the block with a new ecological packaging. This is a moisturizing and thick cream that is water resistant and is not greasy. I didn’t really find him so non -fatty, but he felt more like a body cream. I usually have a hard time finding sunscreen of the body of non -fatty body and, often, use of facial solar protectors in my body because they are really non -fatty.

Sun Protector Review 2025

The main thing I don’t like about this sunscreen is actually the new packaging! The cap is incredibly “short” and I am convinced that I will start it because it feels so weak!

Nena Skincare | SOLAR PROTECTOR SPF 30*

Sun Protector Review 2025

Then, it is our only mineral solar protector contender of Nena Skincare, based in BC! I love most of baby’s products, so I was eager to try this sunscreen, but it has a white cast that seemed difficult for me to work on my skin. It also has a slightly sticky residue that I did not enjoy in my skin. However, a funny thing of this sunscreen is that, because Nena always uses 100% Canadian glacial clay, this product comes out with a green dye! However, unfortunately, this will be a sunscreen for the body, since I do not have the patience of working in a mineral solar protector or I hope my base was white.

Sun Protector Review 2025

The ultra moisturizer of the SPF 30 repair face has both zinc oxide (mineral) and Octocrileno (chemical), so the texture is definitely thinner than a complete mineral solar protector, but still needs a more massage bit to work on the skin. In me, this still left a touch of a white cast that was not excited and accumulated a bit when I applied the stick base. Maybe if I used a liquid base, it would have been better? In the positive, it was hydrated as a moisturizer and did not feel thick or heavy even with the presence of zinc oxide.

Sun Protector Review 2025

It is a shame that we do not have the protective cream protect your light in Canada because this has been one of my favorite moisturizers with SPF! It is light but moisturizing, does not fit under any of my foundations and, as it is a chemical sunscreen, obviously does not leave a white cast. I am using the last part of the moisturizer and I will be very sad when it has gone because I actually picked it through IPSY for $ 12 USD, which was an incredible price!
