This is an essence and a 2 in 1 toner that is a light spray (it is heavenly, honestly) that works to restore the natural pH level of the skin, refine the pores and increase general hydration using a mixture of peptides rich in proteins such as hydrolyzed rice protein, natural astringent such as the AVEL of witches and antioxidants such as rooibos rooo Extract of horse horses flowers.

As I mentioned, this is a glorious spray with the perfect amount of fog that feels light on the skin and lets you want you to continue sprinkling. It also smells fantastic, like rooibos with a slight vanilla aroma. There is no additional fragrance, so what you are smelling here is what you get and it is an aroma that I have only smelled in my tea.

The packaging is also a solid glass and feels so luxurious to use. I simply couldn’t stop with the initial press sample that the FirstBase team sent and kept wanting to use it!

This is not a certification seal that I see very often and is the organic certification Ecocert Cosmos that means that from beginning to end, this product has been audited by a third -party company that has considered this ecological product with socially responsible practices, from ingredients to packaging.

I use it just after cleaning and just before a serum/sheet mask. I also enjoyed using this in combination with double dose vitamin C serum. I probably do 3 aerosols and maybe 1-2 more of Spritzes if I feel like treating myself! My skin is really easy with the essence/toner and, in terms of consistency, this played very well with all my other products and is quickly absorbed.

Final verdict: I know that the essence/toner step is still slightly controversial and, although I would never say that a product like this is necessary, I have always used a toner in my routine, specifically a spray toner, since I like the refreshing thing that feels in my skin and how it maintains “moisture” if I have waited too much after a shower to start my Skince routine. The aroma of my tóners is also important for me, since I like the impulse of mental positivity, which is what this organic essence does again. My skin feels happy, my brain feels happy and the list of ingredients is beautiful! I am delighted to see that this product is made in Canada and provides the experience of a luxury product. I feel that this association does not usually arise, but in this case, the luxurious packaging and the charm of the ingredients make me feel that I am using something really special.
