Punisher It will return special for Marvel Television!

The independent special is in process with the director Reinaldo Marcus GreenHe is also co -writing, THR confirmed on Tuesday (February 25).

He Disney+ The show will be broadcast in 2026 along with the second season to Reckless.

Daredevil: born again Season 1 arrives at Disney+ on March 4.

Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (also known as The Punisher) – Returning!

The actor will repeat the role of Frank Castle, also known as Antihero El Punisher.

The independent special with the director is also covering Reinal.

Jon First he played the role in the Netflix version of Recklessdebuting the character during the second season of 2016. He then directed his own series for Netflix, playing the title character for two seasons of The punishmentwhich worked from 2017 to 2019.

“Punisher means a lot to so many people, and lives in so many heads of different people, so they care a lot,” he said previously on paper. “That is huge for me, and I understand. I am familiar with the comic audience of my time in The Living Dead: They are very intelligent, loyal and passionate. This character also resonates deeply with the application of the law and the army. People go to the battle for our country with the Punisher logo in their equipment, their body armor, their vehicles, and die for their country with that logo in them. ”
