My Mom’s Style | Cup of Jo

This weekend, Anton was sick, so we did many soothing activities such as reading, eating apple and looking through old family photos. As always, I felt inspired by my mother’s style over the years, like these five touches …

1. shirts with buttons under the sweaters. The layer of layers looks good in people, perhaps because it frames the face? (In this photo, my mother was newly pregnant but I still didn’t know I was having twins).

2. A broken ditch. My mom is the classic type of Belted, but I love this aerodynamic version and approves it all the time, even about pajamas when walking the children to school.

3. Brown shadows. It is not necessary to say that people use a lot of black in New York, the other day, I looked around the neighborhood coffee and the 14 people in the row were dressed in black, but! I love how soft and rich the brown feels, especially when it is in layers with other brown. And apparently now it is great to mix black and brown, so we go.

4. Large shirts are seen effortlessly …

… especially when the sleeve is rolled up to the elbow.

5. Finally, my eyes were filled when I met this photo of my beloved grandfather. And how great was his roll neck sweater? Somehow I feel moved that my brown drool is something similar to his; We also loved to eat fish, listen to radio news and see the children play.

Do you have old photos of relatives? How was your style? I would love to listen. It always makes my heart swell.

Pd my mother’s beauty uniform, have babies in Paris and what it feels like to be a twin.
