Share a summary of the books that I have read lately and if it is worth adding them to your collection.
Hello friends! How are you? I hope you are having a beautiful morning so far! We are doing the usual education at home around here and I am looking forward to a F45 class this afternoon.
For today’s publication, I wanted to chat about books and share some of those that I have read (and leave) lately. TBH, I have not been spending so much time reading lately. I have been working hard through my level 3 IHP modules, I am trying to finish at the equilibly conference in October, and honestly, moving much more at night. The days are so wild that it feels surprising curling with my weighted blanket and my scroll, but the reality is that reading feels good and actually does something positive for my brain. I downloaded about five new books in the hope that one will absorb me completely, so that I can return to my library paths.
For now, here is a summary of the last books! I would love to hear what you have added to your collection lately and could not leave it.
Books that I have read lately
A golden summer – DNF
I had great hope for this, and I have read other books of this author and loved them. They are usually fast, advantageous, with a decent writing and a fainting story. This was flat. I kept reading, hoping that it would improve, and I was only going through it. Finally I stopped smoking at 70%. Puaj. I was quite upset with that, but the reality is that the reading time is sacred and I will not waste time reading books that I do not love, there are too good there. 4/10
From Amazon:
Good things happen in the lake. That is what Alice’s grandmother says, and it’s true. Alice spent only one summer there in a cabin with Nan when she was seventeen, is where she took that photo, one of the three smiling teenagers in a quick yellow boat, the image that changed her life.
Now Alice lives behind a lens. As a photographer, he feels more comfortable on the sidelines, letting other people shine. Lately, however, he has been picing something else, and when Nan falls and breaks his hip, Alice comes up with a plan for both: another summer in that magical place, Barry’s Bay. But as soon as they accommodate, their peace is interrupted by the roar of a family yellow ship and the man who leads it.
Charlie Florek was nineteen when Alice took her photo from afar. Now everything is grown, a shameless flirting, which manages to make Nan laugh and Alice Long to be seventeen, when life was simpler, when taking photos was only for fun. The days of singing and the warm nights on the lake with Charlie are a balm for Alice’s soul, but when she looks up and sees her penetrating green look directly on her, she begins to worry about her heart.
Because Alice sees people, that’s why it’s so good in what they do, but he has never met someone who looks and sees her back.
Manifesto: 7 steps to live your best life
I have been a great believer in the demonstration, since then The secret BY DAYS. I really think it works and I think if you feel your goals and future before they occur, it will happen. (A million years ago, I worked in Lululemon and made us do a visualization exercise of our entire day, starting to finish, 10 years from that moment. Almost everything I expressed during that time came true, including our two perfect girls, which were just a shine in the eyes at that time. At that time, we were also trying to get pregnant and we had not succeeded).
An interesting question is the distinction between manifestation and prayer, and if you can use them together, especially if you are religious. For me, I use them completely differently. In general, I do not pray for things that I want to happen, but I use it as a time of reflection and gratitude. I use the manifestation to imagine the future and the actions I must take to reach that point.
The author breaks down manifestation techniques and strategies, as well as short daily exercises. While a lot was a review for me, I loved the reminders and the book was concise and shocking. 9/10

I will have what she has
Together with the Twilight series, Chelsea Handler led me to read “For Fun” after university, and his first book made me cry with laughter. (Everything is inappropriate and probably not PC for what I remember, so if you are an easily offended person, I would keep me away). When I saw that I had a new book, I downloaded it instantly, and did not disappoint me. I strongly recommend the audio version so you can listen to the stories in your voice. This book was surprisingly inspiring and moving in addition to being totally hilarious. 10/10
From Amazon:
There is a woman where I want to become, Chelsea Handler thought as a child. She will be strong and safe. She will illuminate a room and extend that light so that others feel better. She will make a living being herself. She will be a survivor.
At the age of ten, Chelsea opened a lemonade post and realized that he would earn more money if the drinks shot. Then Vodka added to his recipe and used his profits to update the first class on a family vacation, leaving his parents and brothers in the coach. He moved to Los Angeles and was fired from his temporal work when he admitted that he did not know how to transfer calls. She has played pickleball with the offspring of an American dynasty. She has sent a governor. She shared psychedelic with strangers in Spain. When he accidentally ended at dinner with Woody Allen, he was not going to leave the table without asking him a very personal question. She went to national television and talked about having trios. She has never been one to contain.
But this life of adventure and absurd is only part of its history. Chelsea knows what it is really to present to her family: canine and human, biological and chosen. She has discovered how to spend time, how to meditate, how to be open to love and how to put an end to a relationship with dignity. She is a sister of the many women who trust her.
Surprisingly vulnerable and always scandalous, Chelsea Handler captures the anticipated, stimulating and cheerful life that he has built, a life that makes the rest of us think, I will have what he is having.
Ok, friends: What is in the Kindle right now? Any book that you have devoured lately and recommend you to all you know? Can I be on that list? Thank you
