This month, I decided to invite some friends and launch a birthday meeting. I am 46 years old, so it is not an important milestone, but life is short and I thought everyone could do it with a little shine at this time. So why not?
My parties generally involve fries and ice cream bars, but my friend Maddy offered to make a giant bowl of chocolate mousse, which has been my favorite dessert since I was little. So his Friend Erin, a good artist, asked if she could make a centerpiece with Papel Maché. Of course, the answer was yes, and the day of the party entered with a beautiful swan, in addition to ribbons, candles and tablecloths, and my God, my jaw abandonment. What cannot women do?
After discussing what to use, I went with the velvet dress with golden flowers, in addition to black stockings and heels. Sézane’s pieces always make me feel pretty, this was my first date confidence, so I knew I would love to use it. Every time someone hugged me Hello, he said how soft and intense the velvet felt, who felt very romantic and charming.

Everyone mixed and talked, and the house felt noisy and bustling in the best way.
Halfway, we take a break to listen to music. My friend Rachel directs a music school, so I asked if I could recommend a student who touches. She told me that Keira Eli was a star who writes her own music (!) So she was delighted to hire her to come to play two original songs.
All were paralyzed; You could have heard a fall in a pin. I can’t explain how slow and beautiful and moved their songs were. The moment felt almost holy.
Next, my hilarious friend David sang rural roads and passing through …
… and the crowd sang.
Finally, friends for a long time Rob and Adam played violin and keyboard. They wanted to keep their song options secret to the party …
… So everyone encouraged when Halleluyh played by Leonard Cohen and the Pony Club of Chappell Roan.
Finally, my friends raised a tea light, so that I could exploit a ceremonial candle …
And I finished the night with a kiss. I felt very lucky and brilliant all night and during the next few days, and, honestly, yet! How grateful I am for these friends, as well as this online community. I told Freddie the next morning that this could have been my favorite birthday, and I would like come.
