As filming for this year wrapped, Pooja Hegde shared a sneak peek on Instagram. She posted a picture of her and Vijay’s feet, captioning it, “Last day of shoot in 2024.” She hinted that the next part of the filming will begin in 2025.
Her post featured a stunning beach location, sparking curiosity about the film’s setting. Fans are now speculating about its role in the story.

About Thalapathy 69
Directed by H Vinoth, Thalapathy 69 is a political action thriller and marks Pooja Hegde’s second collaboration with Vijay. The duo previously worked together in the 2022 hit Beast, where Vijay played an ex-RAW agent caught in a hostage crisis at a mall.
In addition to the lead actors, the movie will feature a talented cast, including Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, and Mamitha Baiju. With action and political themes, Thalapathy 69 is shaping up to be a major release, scheduled for Diwali 2025.
Vijay & Pooja Hegde’s Work Front
Vijay’s most recent film, The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), further solidified his action-hero status. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the movie follows an agent who uncovers a larger conspiracy after discovering his son, presumed dead, is still alive.
Meanwhile, Pooja Hegde is keeping busy with other exciting projects, including Deva alongside Shahid Kapoor and Suriya 44, where she stars opposite Suriya in a film directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
