Most of us are familiar with what a cleansing balm is (essentially a solid version of a cleansing oil), but the “grinding” mechanism allows for a more hygienic way to access your precious cleansing balm, so instead of Use your hands, twist the top of the container and “grind” what you need in perfectly controlled portions!
This particular cleansing balm contains Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Seed Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Madecassoside and Cica to soothe sensitive or irritated skin.
The grinding mechanism is smooth and the cleansing balm itself is one of the gentlest I’ve ever tried! From the moment you take it, it’s already melting into my skin and doesn’t burn my eyes at all or leave a film that I can’t blink away, which honestly is my life with most cleansing balms or oils. .
The other thing I liked about this cleansing balm was how nice it was to not have to deal with the product under my long nails! It was never a big deal as when I washed my face the product emulsified under my nails, but it’s a small bonus!
Where I have some questions are: “How will I get to the rest of the remaining cleansing balm when I’m near the end?” and “Can I break this plastic?” because one thing I don’t like about hygienic packaging like this is that since everything is completely hidden from view, I never know how much it is In fact left.
Final verdict: I like the actual product INSIDE this grinding mechanism as it is one of the nicest textures I have ever experienced. It doesn’t burn my eyes and does a great job removing all my makeup. I’m not sure if I would purchase this again, mainly due to how much the room cleaning balms take up on my counter in general (although if I had LESS stuff, I might be more okay with it) and the fact that the grinding feels. a little fancy and I would have preferred this product in just a jar that I could take out.
