My Friend Is a Genius at Arranging Grocery Store Flowers

These were $ 20 from Trader Joe’s! Gahh!

A couple of months ago, my friend Alison wanted to cheer up the winter. “Every time I enter Trader Joe’s, all flowers look so beautiful,” he told me. “Then, instead of spending a lot of money on a florist, I decided to treat me at $ 20- $ 25 in flowers to make my own arrangements.”

How beautiful are these ???? Here are Alison’s six steps …

1. Buy four types of flowers:
* A seasonal flower (tulips, narcissos, whatever)
* A fill flower (like one with small outbreaks, such as baby’s breath)
* A flower that fits the color palette (aerosol roses look good with everything)
* Greenery (“I usually like the biggest leaves,” she says)
2. The vegetation goes first, since it is the basis to keep everything together.
3. Add the filling flower.
4. Capa in aerosol roses.
5. Finally, add the seasonal flower, which is generally the most delicate, but everything else will keep it.
6. Enjoy!

As for professional advice? Alison eliminates the leaves of the parts of the stems that will be under the water line. “If under water, the leaves make gross water and flowers rot more quickly,” he explained. In addition, if you have time, change the water and pick up the bottom of the stems every few days: “In that way, flowers can absorb water and last longer.”

“The flowers make me happy every time I see them at the table of my kitchen,” he told me today. “Organize them also scratch a creative itching.” But maybe keep your children out of view. “My daughter Georgie tries to help, but the top of the flowers is simply removed.”
