Kitchen remodeling horror history: permission is missing in action

Here is a history of renovation of the kitchen of one of our readers. It is the distressing story of a remodeling of the kitchen failures!

I bought cabinets, a sink, a tap and a countertop of {name of the center of origin} and hired a contractor to install them for what was supposed to be a two -week job. It turned out to be Three months of hell.

The contractors did not have a permission before starting the work, and tracked their dirt on my new carpets. They left a hot glue gun that dripped in my new sink and were not very professional. I contacted Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint, then contacted the state attorney general’s office. I also contacted the state contractor’s board and filed a complaint that gave them 9 serious violations. Very bad work.

Warn all consumers about this. They took me well for more than $ 6,000.

Ask them pertinent questions about their businesses and background, and compare apples to apples so you can determine what is the best option for the needs of your kitchen.
