I was trying to present mainly Canadian brands last month, since it was Canada’s day on July 1, but I didn’t have time to present all the brands I wanted to do it, so I’m turning this into #Canadiansummer to maintain love! Today we present once again based on Quebec Bkind (See my previous review of BKIND here) and its humidity and mask for nourished hair!
I use a hair mask every time I wash my hair because I color it in the last 10 years, since my already dry and thick hair is even drier and thick and hair masks, at least, put it again in “quite touchable.”
What makes this hair mask special? One of the most interesting things in this mask is that the first ingredient is Aloe Vera, since most hair masks are based on water with the first ingredient that is water. This makes the formula even more moisturizing and more expensive to produce. It also contains a natural biolipid complex composed of phospholipids and glycolipids that cover and soften the hair and karité butter, wheat germ oil and macadamia seed oil only to name some nutritious ingredients!
The aroma is fruity and smells like watermelon and cucumber of those who are not really a big fan. I prefer that my masks for the hair oil more flowers or citrus, but that is just me. Ideally, this mask should be left in the hair for 5-10 minutes, which in the shower is difficult, since I do not like to leave the water for so long, so 5 minutes is what I finish while I leave it while I do my second cleaning, body washing, exfoliation or shaved in the legs. I think if I could do the full 10 minutes, my hair would be even softer!
Ingredients: barbadensis aloe leaf juice, leather alcohol, glycerin, aqua, behenamidopropil dimthythylamine, polyglyceryl-3 Betanato acetate, butyrospermum parkii (karité butter), lactic acid*, phospholipids, natural aroma, glycine soy Macadamia ternifyamia, tender, phospholipids, natural aroma aroma, soy glycine (soybean). Vulgare germ oil (wheat), glycolipids, sterile sterols soybean (soybeans), lactitol, xylitol, maltodextrine, sodium levulinate, sodium anisate, potassium sorbate, potassium sorbate, potassium sorbate, potassium sorbate, potassium sorbate, potassium sor. sodium gluconate.
*Note that the lactic acid present in this formula is not used for its exfoliation paper (alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA)), but to adjust the pH of the formula.
Final verdict: The interesting thing about this mask is that I feel that initially, my hair is soft and free of tangles, which is not something new, but the different thing is that, since I have been using it, I find that after drying and combing, my hairstyle lasts an extra day. Is that possible? I am also finding my scalp less itching than usual, especially on day 3 without washing, where I usually die for washing my hair, so for me, I experienced a very delayed gratification!
