This easy ice cream dessert is phenomenal. The layers of oreos, cookies and cream ice cream, and sweet sugar, make this incredible dessert!
Do you want the easiest dessert for the summer? This ice cream dessert is everything! Not only is it a simple madness of assembling (without baking!), But it is very adaptable to many other flavors combos!
Dessert of 4 ingredients
Four everyday ingredients easy to find constitute six delicious layers in this dessert of Oreo ice cream. Here are the Deets:
Ingredients:
- Oreos (or “chocolate sandwich cookies”, if you want to be politically correct and neutral in the 😉) brand
- Salad butter
- Cookies and cream ice cream
- FUGGE HOT (purchased from the store or homemade)
This dessert is more than the sum of its parts. And you will see why while we immerse ourselves in how dessert is assembled. ⬇️
Oreo ice cream dessert assembly
- Crush thick to the oreos. You can use a food processor, a blender or simply place the cookies in a bag and break their guts with a roller.
- Mix 3 cups of crumbs with butter and press on a 9×13 inches tray. Fruit for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Extend half of the ice cream on the cortex.
- Add the slightly heated hot sugar candy on the ice cream.
- Sprinkle Oreo’s crumbs over.
- Stop the remaining ice cream evenly.
- Cover with the final allocation of Oreo crumbs.
- Freeze for at least two hours before serving.
For the Council: When the cortex establishes in the freezer to cool for a few minutes, take the ice cream so that it can soften a little, which will make it much easier to spread.
Variations of ice cream
Because this easy -to -free ice cream dessert is a beautiful compilation of goodness bought in the store (of course, feel free to make your own ears … will never tell you about it), it is very adaptable to so many different flavors.
Here are some ideas of flavor variation:
- Mint chocolate: Mint Oreos + Hot Fudge Sauce + Mint Chip Ice Cream or Mint Cookie Ice Cream (such as Mint Mint Clues in Albertsons or Fred Meyer)
- Peanut butter: Walnut butter cookies + hot sugar sweet sauce (this recipe has a chocal version
- Candy: Butter cookies or golden oreos + caramel sauce + caramel/caramel cone ice cream (the cone ice cream of gofres tillamook is 💯)
- Peanut butter chocolate: Oreos (regular flavor or PB) + hot fudge + ice cream
- Chocolate chocolate: Crispy cookies with chocolate sparks + hot sugar sweet + cookie church ice cream
- Christmas mint: Fine mint oreos or cookies + mint ice cream
What other flavor combos come to mind? Chime then in the comments.
A perfect summer dessert
This dessert is a dream for many reasons:
- It is surprisingly easy to do
- can be done in advance weeks in advance
- It’s simple enough for children to go crazy, but have enough pizazz to surprise even the firmer food snob
I mean, even if it doesn’t work for the company, you do it, hide it in the freezer and short shorts (large?) Pieces every night (every hour?), As necessary.
The ice cream softens the layers of cookies a little, which is what we want, because in combination with the ice cream, those Cakey layers give it a delicious atmosphere of ice cream sandwich at all dessert. 😍
Perfect for the entertainment of the warm climate … but also equally appropriate to do all year … This easy ice cream dessert is really exceptional!

Easy Oreo ice cream dessert
- 3 gallon Cookies and cream ice cream (use two containers of 1.5 rooms)
- 39 to 40 Oreo cookies
- 5 tablespoons melted salty butter
- 12 ounces jar FUGGE HOT (see note)
-
Crush the ears in thick crumbs (see note) using a food processor, a blender or placing the ear in a bag and breaking with a roller.
-
Measure 3 cups of crumbs in a medium bowl. Add the melted butter and mix until the crumbs are uniformly moistened.
-
Press Oreo crumbs with butter at the bottom of a 9×13 inches tray. This makes a very complete dessert pan, so make sure your pan is a legitimate 9×13 inches and not scarce legitimate pan.
-
Freeze the cortex for at least 20 to 30 minutes (this helps keep the cortex instead while extending ice cream). While the cortex freezes, remove the ice cream to soften.
-
It rises 1.5 quarters of softened ice cream on the bark and extends in a uniform layer.
-
Slightly heat the hot sugar until it spreads (but not to the hot pipe). Sprinkle or place the hot sugar on the ice cream and turn and spread on top. It’s okay that this layer looks messy.
-
Sprinkle 3/4 cup of the remaining Oreo crumbs on the hot sugar candy (leave enough crumbs to sprinkle at the top of the dessert at the end).
-
Remove the remaining ice cream 1.5 rooms in tablespoons uniformly on the Oreos/Hot Fudge candy and extended in a uniform layer. Ears and hot sugar can change and move a little while extending ice cream; That’s ok.
-
Cover with the remaining crushed ears.
-
Cover the dessert slightly with aluminum foil or plastic wrap and immediately freeze for at least two hours before serving. If the dessert has frozen for a longer time, take it out of the freezer of 20 to 30 minutes before serving to be easier to cut and serve.
-
This dessert remains well in the freezer for up to two months.
Oreos: I use three ears sleeves for this recipe (which comes in the Great Costco box). A regular oreos package of 13.29 ounces has about 33 cookies, which are some cookies that are needed for what is needed for this recipe. Use the smaller quantity of cookies and reduce the amount of oreo cookie crumbs between layers or buy two cookies packages (or a larger party size package) and enjoy the “problem” of having some leftovers of oreos. 😉
Crumbs: I prefer the ears in thick and crushed pieces instead of fine crumbs.
Flavor variations: This dessert is very adaptable to other combinations of cookies/ice cream such as mint oreos + mint chip chip ice cream, nut butter or other cookie Pb + peanut butter or chocolate ice cream of peanut butter, oreos + mint ice cream, etc.
