This is really the best baked salmon! A fast marinade ensures that the tender and squamous salmon is super tasty.
We are a family of salmon lovers, and this is our favorite way to do and eat salmon! It is so easy and so good. Bonus instructions include how to cook salmon in an air fryer.
Tasty marinated for salmon
I have been making salmon using this flavor profile for years. Makes the most juicy and tasty baked salmon in history.
- I am Sauce
- brown sugar
- garlic
- lemon pepper seasoning
If you use leather salmon fillets, Place the skin of the salmon up so that the marinade can instill flavor in the salmon meat.
A note about salmon: what kind of use
This recipe can be done with:
- individual salmon fillets
- A large salmon fillet
Individual salmon fillets will vary in size and thickness. In general, individual salmon fillets are sold in pieces of 4 to 6 ounces. The fillets can vary in a thickness of 1/2 to 1 inch thick, and it is normal for a salmon steak to be thicker on one side and narrow outside.
I have included baking instructions in the ⬇️ recipe to accommodate for different sizes/salmon thickness.
If you use a large salmon fillet, A) cut it into pieces of equal size before using in the Ob) recipe) marinate the entire fillet (on a dish that accommodates the size), bake as a large fillet and cut in individual service size pieces after baking.
Direct Access Council for this baked salmon
In a perfect world, this salmon should marinate for at least 2 hours for an optimal flavor.
However, I understand better than anyone that sometimes life gets along the way. Or do not plan in advance. Or you decide that you want salmon in the last minute and it has to be that this life changes the best baked salmon.
I understand.
If you have little time look at The recipe notes section. It establishes a very simple plan to omit the time of the marinade and, instead, brushing the marinade on the salmon *twice *. Do not teach the same flavor blow as to let the salmon hang out in the marinade for a few hours, but definitely works in case of trouble.
Last advice + air fryer instructions
The most important advice I can give it when it comes to this best baked salmon is: not baking too much.
On baked salmon it is dry and unattractive, so cooking time (since it will differ, slightly, depending on the thickness of the salmon). When it is baked correctly, the salmon will melt in the mouth and tender.
This salmon works very well in an air fryer. Preheat the air fryer at 400 degrees F. Place the salmon fillets in a single layer. Cook for 7 to 9 minutes (the exact time will vary according to the air fryer and the thickness of the salmon).

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, brunette sugar, water, oil, vinegar and garlic until they are well combined and sugar dissolves. (See note below If you do not have time to marinate the salmon before continuing with the next step).
-
Pour the marinade on a shallow dish that can fit all salmon fillets in a single layer. Place the salmon fillets on the side of the skin in the marinade. If you use salmon without skinTurn the salmon in the middle of the marinated time.
-
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 8 hours.
-
Preheat the oven at 400 degrees F.
-
Fore a half -leaf tray with aluminum foil and fat slightly with cooking spray. Remove the salmon from the marinade and put it in the skin down on the prepared bakery tray. Sprinkle each piece of salmon slightly with lemon pepper seasoning.
-
Bake the salmon for 10 to 15 minutes until an instant reading thermometer inserted in the thickest part registered 125 degrees F (for a weird half) at 140 degrees F (for the middle well). The exact time will depend on the thickness of the salmon: add the cooking time as necessary.
-
Let the salmon stand for 5 to 7 minutes (the internal temperature will rise some more degrees). Serve hot.
Salmon: If you use a large salmon steak, a) cut it into pieces of equal size before using in the Ob) recipe) marinate the entire fillet (on a dish that will accommodate the size), bake like a large fillet (adding time as necessary: it can need between 15 and 20 minutes in the oven) and cut into individual pieces of service size after baking.
Marinated time: Ideally, this salmon knows better if it can marinate for at least 2 hours. However, if you have little time or have not planned ahead, instead of marinating the salmon, place the salmon on a greased baking tray and lined with aluminum foil. Place the marinate on each piece of salmon and sprinkle with lemon pepper seasoning. Reserve the remaining marinade. Bake according to the indications. Approximately 5 minutes before the salmon ends up baking, brush/place part of the marinade reserved on salmon (then allow you to finish baking).
Air fryer option: The salmon can be cooked in an air fryer instead of in the oven. Preheat the air fryer at 400 degrees F. Place the salmon fillets in a single layer. Cook for 7 to 9 minutes (the exact time will vary according to the air fryer and the thickness of the salmon).
