Varun Dhawan is set to bring the action-packed drama Baby John to the big screen soon. Ahead of its release, the actor, along with director Atlee, his wife Priya Atlee, and co-stars Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi, visited the sacred Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on Tuesday morning.
Baby John Team Seeks Blessings From Mahakal Ahead Of Release
The team participated in the Bhasma Aarti, a spiritual ceremony with deep significance. After offering prayers, Varun shared his thoughts with the media.

Speaking to the media, Varun said, “It was a very good feeling offering prayers here at the temple. God is bigger than the film. I just prayed that people go and watch the movie.”

Varun also posted a photo on Instagram, dressed in a traditional dhoti and kurta, with chandan on his forehead. The actor shared his gratitude with the caption, “Feeling blessed Jai Mahakal.”
The Mahakaleshwar Temple (one of India’s twelve sacred Jyotirlingas) is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located on the banks of the Shipra River.
Baby John Advance Bookings Open
Fans of Varun Dhawan can now book their tickets for Baby John, as advance bookings have officially started. Industry experts predict the film could collect Rs 15 crore on its opening day. Over the weekend, the action-packed drama is expected to rake in Rs 45-50 crore.
However, the film faces competition from Pushpa 2: The Rule, which released recently. It’s too early to predict exact numbers because bookings are still picking up. While the late promotions affected initial collections, the film has strong music, Atlee’s direction, and Varun’s star power. It may gain momentum ahead.
Directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee, Baby John is the Hindi adaptation of the Tamil hit Theri (2016). The film features Varun Dhawan in the lead role, supported by Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff. Varun recently clarified that this film isn’t an actual remake but an adaptation with major changes.
