I have a fun history of fun jewelry (as one): in my veins, I worked for a magazine called Topic, where we interviewed people who were connected with the theme of each topic (for example, a dining room of competitive hot dogs for the number of “food”). For our “sin” problem, I contacted a jewelry thief, Bill Mason, who had just left jail. Similar to the character of Jon Hamm, he had captivated in high society and then stolen more than $ 35 million in jewels of people he met at parties, including Phyllis Diller, Bob Hope and Truman Capote. My interview with him was intense: the day after having left a voice message for him, he called me while walking home from work in Manhattan, so I sat on the sidewalk along First Avenue, I opened my laptop and wrote everything he said.
