To recreate this nail you will need:
Make sure your work surface is clean and you have gloves on.
Some steps have two methods depending on the polish you have available to use.
Step 1
Paint your nail with your purple polish and cure it for 30 seconds.
Cut out the word “Cadburys” from the foil on your Easter eggs.
Place a second coat of purple on the nail and use the tweezers to press the foil onto the wet coat. Make sure it is as flat as possible.
Step 2
Cure for 10 seconds. Then remove it from the lamp and polish it with glitter.
Return to the lamp and cure for 30 seconds.
*If using Glitter gel polish, cure for 30 seconds. Since it is not necessary to add glitter.*
Step 3
Use builder gel to float on the nail.
(When using glitter, it is always advisable to have a separate bottle for glitter applications. This prevents the possibility of “glitter transfer” to a flat polish color.)
Flip the nail for 10 seconds. (This will help the gel move and cover any height differences from the aluminum foil)
Cure for 60 seconds.
Step 4
Using gold craft paint and a 000 brush, draw nice lines following the line of the foil to the edge of each nail. (This helps hide where the foil and gel polish meet)
Cure for 60 seconds.
Step 5
Apply top coat.
Your chocolate wrapped nail is now complete!
(Don’t forget to clean the brush by running it through the base coat!)
