My healthy sleep battery: what I use for a deep and restorative rest

Hello friends! How are you? I hope you are having a wonderful morning. Today I have a podcast interview and I am looking forward to taking a yoga class with LIV later.

For today’s publication, let’s chat about one of my favorite themes of all time: Sleep!

If there is something that I have learned in my own well -being trip, and after helping hundreds of women rebalance their bodies, it is this: You cannot overcome the bad sleep. In addition, what you do in the morning and during the day will affect your sleep quality.

We all know how terrible it feels to throw and turn all night … and how difficult it is to feel like yourself the next day. Humor changes, cravings, slow training, hormonal imbalances and even intestinal problems can come from low quality sleep. When I do not sleep, I feel that my whole world has crashed on the ground. Take your sleep, take everything. (I think this is one of the main reasons why postpartum was a fight for me).

Over the years, I have tried many approaches to improve my dream, from meditation to the curtains off. While everyone helps, I discovered that some key tools constantly make the biggest difference. This is my current healthy sleep battery that I use as part of my night routine.

As always, consult your doctor before starting any supplement or new products, especially if you are taking medications or managing a health condition. This is simply what works for me and many of my clients.

What is in my healthy sleep battery?

1. SUBMANAL BALANCE RELIEF

Chronic stress is one of the most common sleep disruptors, and most women over 35 are dealing with a certain degree, whether they realize or not. Soothe adrenal is a mixture of specific adaptogens that include Ashwagandha and phosphatidylserine that can help reduce night cortisol levels. This can lead to a deeper rest and a more consistent energy during the day. I take 2 capsules after dinner or with my night magnesium. This product is especially useful for women who feel connected but tired at night and have trouble falling asleep despite feeling exhausted.

2. Magnesium (glycinated or l-retonated) + topical spray

Magnesium plays a role in more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body, including muscle relaxation, nervous system function and sleep regulation. Unfortunately, many people are poor due to stress, soil exhaustion and bad absorption. I prefer this complete spectrum magnesium because it is soothing and well absorbed. It helps to calm both the body and the mind, and I will also double using a topical magnesium (like this).

3. Low melatonin doses

Melatonin is a hormone naturally produced by the pineal gland in response to darkness. It tells the body that it is time to relax. From time to time I use a low dose melatonin supplement (0.5 mg at 3 mg) to support my circadian rhythm, especially during the trip or after a night of sleep. The key is to use it as a short -term tool and not trust it every night unless it is the direction of a medical care provider. I avoid the highest doses, which can lead to the Grogginess the next day. A little helps me to sleep deeply when I need it, and I feel that a million dollars the next day.

4. Clean oil package

Clea oil packages have been used for centuries to support detoxification and calm the nervous system. I use a reusable package without disorder on my abdomen in the afternoon while I finish. It can promote circulation, liver detoxification and stimulate the vagus nerve, which activates the parasympathetic nervous system, our “rest and digestion” mode. This simple practice can make a big difference to help the body change to the mode of suspension. This is my favorite castor oil package: use fitnessist for a discount. How to incorporate them into a routine

You do not need to use all nights and it is important to adjust it based on your needs and life.

This is what I do:

After dinner

2 capsules of adrenal soul

Optional: Mix of magnesium drinks for additional relaxation, such as organic gold

Boring you (30–60 minutes before bedtime)

Apply a ricin oil pack while reading or daily

Take full spectrum magnesium

Use low dose melatonin only when necessary

Put my blue light lock glasses and use magnesium spray

Bedtime

Remove the castor oil package

Lower the lights and avoid screens.

If you are doing all the right things and still does not sleep well, it can be time to look at the root cause. Hormonal imbalances, high night cortisol, nutrient deficiencies and heavy metals can affect sleep. Functional laboratory tests such as stress test, mood and metabolism, mineral and metal test, and HTMA (cylinder tissue mineral analysis) can give it a clear image of what is happening and where to start.
