My 10 Favorite Things From Trader Joe’s (Right Now)

The best foods of Trader Joes

Recently I rediscovered the particular fun of a good and long store in Trader Joe’s. I used to go regularly in my veins (mainly for wine), but then I married an TJ and “change” the store pretty Much every day, therefore, eliminating any reason to do so. But Trader Joe’s is a Wonderland in constant change, and I was delighted to find some old favorites (still good! Even well at a price!), Along with some new spectacular. Here are my current top 10 …

Garlic sauce. The first time I bought this, I made the mistake of buying only one. I had plans to try it in several dinner items (stained with chicken breasts! But, even before starting to cook, I had left. I am sure it would be great in all kinds of things, but I can tell you that it is divine in a shabby cookie.

Risotto of fungi. I love the risotto, and before my daughter Margot was born, I loved floating on the stove while boiling over low heat, carefully adding broth and wine. But Margot doesn’t have time for all that uproar. The TJ risotto takes five minutes, and the first time I did, I was almost upset about how good it was.

Rainbow’s End Trail Mix. For me, this is the only mixture of paths. I still have to find another that nails the balance of salty, sweet, crispy, chewable and sour so well. If you ever stop doing this, I will simply stop eating a mixture of paths. (Please, please, never stop!)

Soft and juicy mango. All in my family have a package of these dry mango slices in their backpacks. They last forever, do not occupy space and are incredibly satisfactory. I will not make a journey by car without them.

Jojoba oil. I am a great fans of cream by hand. I could write a complete list of creams from the mega pit that help my dry skin, but for my cuticles? None works as well as these things. WOW. Did everyone know about jojoba oil? It is like a magical draft for the noisy pieces around the nails. I put on a couple of drops once a day and it is as if I didn’t even have cuticles.

Vegetable bird nests. But let’s go back to food. Can we talk about vegetable nests? They are so good and so unrecognized! Every time I go to the store, I am worried that I find them discontinued because all blow them on their way to the meatballs. And I will grant you: in the box, they look like tangled rubber bugs. But they are the most tasty and crispy things, completely delicious, and make our kitchen smell incredible. Put them in the oven before friends come, and everyone will enter asking: “OhWhat are you going to doing? “

Lavash bread. Lavash is a lunchbox hero, both for adults and preschoolers. It is softer and more malleable than whistle, but much more resistant than the sandwich bread, and will not soak if filled with grilled vegetables or spray with vinaigrette. It is also conveniently drilled in the middle as a roll of paper towels, a feature that I appreciate strangely, because it means one less step when I am doing the preschool lunch mentioned above at 7:22 am

Giant baked beans in tomato sauce. We have them in the cabinet at all times. They are always a complement to the crowd, but they are also a complacent. When eating alone, I do not bother in the veneer or heating; I simply open the can and take a fork. [Here’s a recipe with them, too.]

Sous Video Chicken Potos. We all know TJ’s glitters in the freezer’s hall, but these refrigerated chicken thighs are officially my favorite product in the store. They are super juicy and easily approach with any sauce, but I personally like them better with zero ornaments. Heat them on the skin down on the stove, serve in a lot of sauteed vegetables and have a dinner.

A dozen sweet bites. Here is another easy victory for dinner. But besides being cute and elegant, they are also really delicious. I recommend taking one of the freezer in your pajamas, when you need a gift before bedtime.

Now, please, will you tell me your own current favorites? What have I missed?
