It is the last day of June and one day before my 42nd birthday! I have been out of work in recent days and every day it has been pure joy to spend it with people I like and do things I enjoy! It is difficult to believe that the first birthday that I celebrated here in the cosmetic test was my 29th birthday and here we are at 42 years. It is sobering how long it has passed and how things have changed and yet they have stayed the same. This is a place that anchors me and where I can sit happily in nostalgia with “how things used to be.” With the way AI goes, people will not even have to read the makeup reviews, but I like to have things here for me. I have always said that this place is my diary, my online newspaper and even my own personal database of samples and beauty products that I have tried, so I feel that I will continue writing here, even if more and more people go to Tiktok and Instagram for their makeup reviews. I am here for all of us in our 40 or more!
